Who is Steph?
Steph (short for Stephanie Chan) is our Founder and Director. She’s a self-taught baker and mum of two who started the business in her home kitchen back in 2017. These days she leads our small and thriving team, still designs a lot of the cookies, and yes — she's involved in every step of the process!
Where is Sugar Rush by Steph based?
Our kitchen is based at Unit 18/14 Burgess Rd, Bayswater North VIC 3153 in Melbourne, Australia, and we bake fresh cookies Monday to Friday from 9am–4pm. While we don’t have a retail shopfront, everything is shipped straight to your door anywhere in Australia!
What does Sugar Rush by Steph do?
We bake custom cookies for every occasion! From birthdays and weddings to corporate events and branded activations. Every cookie is handmade in our HACCP-certified commercial kitchen and shipped anywhere in Australia.
What’s the heart behind Sugar Rush by Steph?
At the end of the day, it’s about more than cookies. We started with one oven in a family kitchen and grew into a team that shares joy through edible design. Every cookie we send out carries a little bit of care, creativity, and connection - because we believe small things can create big moments.
Do you only take large corporate cookie orders?
Not at all! We love making cookies for both big campaigns as well as personal, one-off celebrations and parties. Whether you need a single gift box or thousands of branded cookies, we’ve got you covered.
What makes Sugar Rush by Steph different?
We mix creativity, quality, and scale in a way most bakeries can’t. We even make our own cookie cutters in-house for totally unique designs. Plus, our kitchen is solar-powered, our packaging is eco-friendly, and every cookie is baked and decorated by hand.
Can you cater cookies for dietary needs (gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free)?
Yes! We offer gluten-free, dairy-free and nut-free cookies. Our dietary cookies are great for those with coeliac needs as well! How are your cookies packaged for delivery?
Each cookie is sealed for freshness and packed carefully with padding to keep them safe on their journey. We’ve tested and refined our packing so your cookies arrive looking as good as they did when they left our kitchen!
